On June 7th, 2017 we bought Matera II wind farm from the leading Italian renewable energy company Asja Ambiente Italia S.p.a.. This windfarm is located in the municipality of Le Reni (Matera, Basilicata, Italy) and it has been operating since 2015. It features nine Vestas V117 wind turbines, with a nominal power rating of 3.3 MW each. At the time, it was the first wind energy project in Italy to employ this kind of aerogenerators.
“The investment in the Matera II windfarm is directly in line with our growth strategy” Renvico’s CEO Andrea Perduca states, adding that “We want to become a key operator in the renewable energy sector across Europe, both by acquisitions of high-quality initiatives as well as construction of our own projects.”
